We’re a US Navy Veteran and former figure skater who traded conventional paths for cobblestone streets and coastal trails. After years living as digital nomads across Europe and the UK, we’ve discovered that the most meaningful travel happens slowly – with intention, presence, and an open heart.  
  
From extended stays in Scottish villages to months in Tuscan wine country, we share what we’ve learned from truly living in the places we write about. Not quick weekend trips, but deep dives into hidden corners, train-accessible gems, and the quiet moments that make travel transformative.
